Let me paint a joyful day
that you can look back when needed
I know that right now it’s grey
Because loneliness succeeded …

Initially when looking at this picture it looks simple. It looks like a simple butterfly out trying to pollinate some flowers and to collect pollen. But what is extremely intelligible about this picture is how normal focus was selective for the butterfly and that group of flowers that he's on top of. The flowers closer to the front are blurred, and the background is blurred. As mentioned in the caption, this picture was inspired by a nature photo of a butterfly. Because the detail looks very accurate, I could see this picture taking some time to make, a lot looking back and forth; even with a really good computer program.

When I look in the back ground the blue of the sky is soft and blends nicely with the rest of the blur. When I look at flowers I don't see any really pronounced shadowing underneath them. So I see that this was a day where the sun wasn't very strong, there might have been a nice wind blowing but not too strong. This was a day where it wasn't all that hot, it might have actually been a little cool. The coloring of the picture really makes me think of a very nice and temperate Saturday afternoon.

If this is a picture that you would use to wish someone good luck, you chose very accurately. In the picture the butterfly has pollen available to him in abundance, there are no predators, no pressure from the sun, a nice wind assist with flight, etc. You know what that can translate to.

But this is a very beautiful picture in number of ways. The colors are soft and soothing on the eyes, while yet the yellow gives the picture a soft spoken energy to it. The selective focus along with how the butterfly was colored can give this picture a somewhat hypnotic effect. For these reasons, this would be a good picture to have in a doctor's/dentist's office, or even a place that just deals with tense people that need to calmed down in some way.

Thank you for the color scheme, the setting, the detail, and for posting it to share it with others. Very Good Work!
