Thank you so much dear Dwayne!!! I didn't get the inspiration from the movie, though I was just testing drawing and painting techniques, and this came out, but then when I saw the movie, yes I can tell why I found THAT cat so "cute"!!!
Thank you again my dear, it's so sweet of you to say that!!!
Goodness, this guy is a cutie! Those eyes just remind me of stare my dog does when she wants a tasty treat. . I really like the color choices you made with the cat, and the way the fur looks. Very realistic. A few things I noticed are the following: I feel like the ears are a bit too small, which makes the face look a bit distorted. I also noticed that, as much as I like the colors of the actual cat, I'm not a fan of the background. I wish there was more going on there, perhaps some clouds, or a room of some sort. I feel like you did a nice job connecting to the viewer, as I feel attached to your art because I remember my own pet. That is always a great thing to achieve with any art. I really enjoy the whiskers for some odd reason, perhaps it's the way they are frayed all over the place that make it interesting and more realistic. The main things I would focus on would be to create more of an interesting background, and anatomy (ears, face, and eyes mainly). I hope this was helpful.
Yes, it was Kathy!!! Thank you so much for the feedback! I appreciate it!!! ... Yes, I definitely need to revisit all the tutorials I can find on anatomy both human and feline ... And the background, I can't recall what the reason was, but I had a problem with some layers! ... I'm not too familiar with Photoshop (despite the fact that all my work has been created using that program) ... So I was kind of "stuck" with the dark background!
